Ingredients

2 cups ripe jamun (washed and deseeded)
½ cup jaggery (adjust to taste)
6 to 7 dried red chillies
few coriander sprigs
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
2 table spoons fresh or dry grated coconut
1/2 lemon sized tamarind ball
Salt to taste
½ cup water as needed to adjust required consistency

Instructions

Deseed the jamun:
Wash and deseed the jamuns.
Blend:
In a mixer jar add all the ingredients to make a smooth paste.
Cook the ketchup:
Pour the puree back into the pan and cook till thick.
Cool & store:
